Smt. Pramita Mallick needs no further introduction to music lovers from Bengal. Currently the foremost exponent in the field of Rabindrasangeet, she was born and raised in Santiniketan, West
Bengal where she trained in Rabindrasangeet under Tagore’s direct disciple Sri Shantidev Ghosh and other eminent gurus like Kanika Bandopadhyay, Nilima Sen and Biswajit Ray, before pursuing further training from Subinoy Roy, Suchitra Mitra and Subhash Chowdhury after moving to Kolkata.
HOORLING is a production by The Tagoreans, adapted from Tagore’s BASHIKARAN – a rarely performed hilarious short play. This is a comedy of errors about how two friends with opposing attitudes about life and religion interact with two radically different women, to meet their own individual agendas.
